About the studio
Celebrity Skin Custom Tattoos is a private, cozy, and friendly tattoo studio located in the heart of Camden Town, London,
owned by tattoo artist
Maury Decay.
We offer a variety of styles, including watercolour, sketchy, abstract, blackwork, blackouts, as well as traditional and fine line tattoos.
We are a VEGAN and
ECO-FRIENDLY tattoo studio: everything we use for every tattoo is plant-based, cruelty-free, plastic-free,
and biodegradable
(no exceptions!).

FAQ
- How old do I have to be to get tattoos?
You must be 18 or older. It is illegal in the UK to tattoo under 18s.
Please bring a valid ID with you!
- Do you do piercings?
No unfortunately we don't but we reccomend our friends at Gold Standard Piercings on the same floor as us for all your piercing needs!
- How are your tattoos priced?
Prices vary depending on final design, style, size, body area etc
- How do I book a consultation or a tattoo appointment?
The best way is to get in touch via email
including a short description of your tattoo, some reference pictures, body area and preferred dates/days of the week
- Will I see my design before the appointment?
Every artist works differently, so we begin your tattoo project once a non-refundable deposit has been made.
Typically, your design will be ready for you to view on the day of your appointment.
If the artist has any questions or needs assistance before the appointment, they will reach out to you.
- What should I do before the tattoo?
Have a good night rest and make sure you're well hydrated.
DO NOT attend your appointment on an empty stomach.
DO NOT shave the area that's going to be tattooed, trimming with clippers is fine.
- What should I do after the tattoo?
We have different aftercare methods depending on the tattoo (size and style)
Your artist will go through the aftercare with you at the end of the session.
- Do you use numbing cream?
We don’t recommend numbing cream for tattoos, and please DO NOT apply any numbing lotions before your appointment.
Your artist reserves the right to turn you away and refuse to tattoo you if this happens, and your deposit will be forfeited.
- So, everything in the studio is vegan?
YES, IT IS.
We only use and stock plant-based products and supplies.
Everything in our studio (including us) is plant-based and cruelty-free— from snacks for clients, furniture, and cleaning products (like sprays, soap, stencil paper), to inks and aftercare cream.
- What products are eco friendly then?
Everything, including paper, cling film, ink caps, razors, cups, bed/station/bottle/machine covers, and more.
If there’s a sustainable alternative, we’ve got it— and this applies to every tattoo we do, no exceptions!
- What is the best way to get to the studio?
We are on Unit 6, 190 Camden High Street, NW1 8QP
just a minute walk from Camden Town Underground Station.
You'll find us on the 1st floor above Leon Restaurant (dial number 6 on buzzer and we'll let you in)
If you're driving by car we recommend Lomax Carpark which is a 5 mins walk to the studio.
