About the studio
Celebrity Skin Custom Tattoos is a private, cosy and friendly tattoo studio in the heart of Camden Town, London, opened by tattoo artist
Maury Decay.
We offer a variety of styles including watercolour, sketchy, abstract, blackwork and blackouts as well as traditional and fine line tattoos.
We are a VEGAN and ECO Friendly tattoo studio: everything we use for every tattoo is plant based, not tested on animals, plastic free and biodegradable (no exeptions!)

FAQ
- How old do I have to be to get tattoos?
You must be 18 or older. It is illegal in the UK to tattoo under 18s.
Please bring a valid ID with you!
- Do you do piercings?
No unfortunately we don't but we reccomend our friends at Gold Standard Piercings on the same floor as us for all your piercing needs!
- How are your tattoos priced?
Prices vary depending on final design, style, size, body area etc
- How do I book a consultation or a tattoo appointment?
The best way is to get in touch via email
including a short description of your tattoo, some reference pictures, body area and preferred dates/days of the week
- Will I see my design before the appointment?
Every artist works different. We can start your tattoo project after a non-refundable deposit has been made.
Usually your design will be ready for you to see on the day of the appointment.
If the artist has any questions or needs help before the appointment,
they will get in touch.
- What should I do before the tattoo?
Have a good night rest and make sure you're well hydrated.
DO NOT attend your appointment on an empty stomach.
DO NOT shave the area that's going to be tattooed, trimming with clippers is fine.
- What should I do after the tattoo?
We have different aftercare methods depending on the tattoo (size and style)
Your artist will go through the aftercare with you at the end of the session.
- Do you use numbing cream?
We don't recommend numbing cream for a tattoo and please DO NOT apply any numbing lotions before the appointment.
Your artist has the right to turn you away and refuse to tatto you and your deposit will be lost.
- So, everything in the studio is vegan?
YES IT IS.
We only use/stock plant based products and supplies.
Everything (including us) is plant based and cruelty free from snacks for clients, furniture to cleaning products, sprays, soap, stencil paper, inks and aftercare cream.
- What products are eco friendly then?
Everything including paper, cling film, ink caps, razors, cups, bed/station/bottle/machine covers and so on.
If there is a sustainable alternative we sure have it and this applies to every tattoo we do, no exepctions!
- What is the best way to get to the studio?
We are on Unit 6, 190 Camden High Street, NW1 8QP
just a minute walk from Camden Town Underground Station.
You'll find us on the 1st floor above Leon Restaurant (dial number 6 on buzzer and we'll let you in)
If you're driving by car we recommend Lomax Carpark which is a 5 mins walk to the studio.
